O.C. Home Values Ranked 7th In Nation

Census figures released today show that Orange County home values ranked seventh in the nation, with a 2007 median value of $670,600.
Among cities, Newport Beach tied again for first in the nation, with a 2007 median home value somewhere above the $1 million mark.
Five other Orange County cities — Yorba Linda, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa and Mission Viejo — ranked among the 25 cities with the highest home values, with median values of $680,000 and above, the census reported. The national median home value in 2007 was $194,300.
The median value of a home in Costa Mesa? $704k

OK, so what does all this mean? It means that Orange County is a place where a lot of people want to live, always have, always will.
It is as simple as that, supply and demand.
This bodes well for Eastside Costa Mesa and 12@ELDEN.
