The Modern Home Front Door Syndrome

I went on two(!!) home tours this weekend; Saturday was the Eichler tour in Orange sponsored by the Orange County AIA and Sunday was the Silver Lake Architecture Tour sponsored by MAK Center.
Both were great, well run and very informative.

I saw (and have seen before) many examples of the "modern home front door syndrome" which is to paint your front door a distinctive color.
I have made many color mistakes in the past and sometimes it is best to get "inspiration" from someone else.
Below are some of the doors I saw over the weekend, love all the colors.
