I loved Twin Peaks!
Way before DVR and all that, we would patiently wait for that beautiful opening credits music and get sucked into the show....

Dark Night of the Soul Show

"Call it this year's most notable cross-species creative partnership: When Grammy-winning studio whiz Danger Mouse reached out to musical surrealist Sparklehorse about a possible collaboration in 2004, the stated intention was to make music, not art.
But that's not exactly how things panned out.
After roping in 11 indie rock and alt-country star pals on two continents to contribute guest vocals, the duo produced an album's worth of atmospheric soundscapes. Then Danger Mouse, who is one-half of the hip-hop-psych-soul duo Gnarls Barkley, called on idiosyncratic director David Lynch to "visually interpret" the tunes with photos."
Currently on view at Michael Kohn Gallery.

David Lynch's Dining Favorites
A Los Angeles resident, David Lynch's dining favorites, as profiled in the Los Angeles Times.
Says The Times: "It’s no secret that David Lynch loves Los Angeles. But did you know the acclaimed director is not exactly fond of Santa Monica? (“I like to stay away at all costs from Santa Monica,” he says.) Lynch is more of a fan of the Eastside lately; especially Silverlake and environs. “I like to drive at night through Hollywood, Echo Park and Silver Lake because of the atmosphere and because the feeling of the Golden Age of Hollywood is still alive.”
We have been a huge fan of Mr. Lynch for a long time and we agree with his assessment.
