The Guy's Eye

A home in the Catskills is profiled in the New York Times.
Says the owner:
“I don’t care about pedigree,” he said of the 19th-century furniture that fills the farmhouse. “I like the fact that the objects were made for a specific purpose. They may be a little crude but they also usually have clean, modern lines.”
Indeed, there is something crisp and masculine about the owner’s aesthetic that appeals to what he calls “the guy’s eye.”

We agree with him and like the way he covered the walls in old prints, paper, etc.
