As Seen At Highland Park's Art Walk

Highland Park Art Walk is held on the 2nd Saturday of every month.

This month saw the participation of the Tin Box Of Curious Artifacts.

The main street running through the middle of the first photograph is Pasadena Avenue (today, Figueroa Street). On the left, the tracks of the Santa Fe Railroad parallel the road. That same right-of-way today carries the light rail cars of the Metro Gold Line.

And to think some of the homes we work on were around at that time, so exciting.

Sometime I go to the flea market with a large laundry list of things to find.......and often I find them!
Case in point: needed a vert post mounted light fixture at front entrance for spanish home we are nearing completion on.
Lo and behold, I found it! Took fixture to my light rewire guy and it is being installed tomorrow.
Look for it on the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in Highland Park.

Home should be ready next week.
