Room Forty's kitchen is on Division St in Glassell Park and they are now offering take out pasta!
Their food is delicious and this is one of the best things to happen to Glassell Park in a long time.
Stop by, say hi and pick up some food!
You will not be disappointed.

LA Bento

Many of the homes we work on are in the Glassell Park area and I am happy to report that LA Bento calls that area home too!
Says their website:
"About Our Cuisine: All of our proteins are hormone free and sustainably farmed. All our breads are baked fresh every day by Breadbar. All sandwiches can be de-constructed, and served as entree salads. The Environment: We use 100% recyclable paper products. For 10 boxes or more we will pick up unwanted boxes"
I am happy to report their food is delicious and their packaging is amazing, 2 big thumbs up!!
Check out their site and get with the program.

Dwell On Design Home Tour
I just signed up for the Dwell On Design East Side Home Tour for Saturday, June 27.Every once in a while driving through the neighborhoods of Glassell Park, Echo Park, Atwater, etc you see some amazing homes sprinkled throughout. This is a great opportunity to peek behind the scenes.
Says Dwell:
"This self-drive tour through Los Angeles East Side substitutes hills for beaches and hipster enclaves for coastal fog. This isn't a part of L.A. that many tourists get to see. Silver Lake, Eagle Rock and Glassell Park unroll their peacefully leafy streets for anyone who dares to stop by. Self-drive or carpooling means you can set your own pace - perfect for a sunny Saturday."
See you then!
